Right out of the bag, Turtle smells sweet and rich with hints of chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. I tried it black first, and surprisingly it was smooth enough to drink without sugar or creamer — something I normally never do.
Adding a little sugar and creamer brought out the chocolate flavor even more and gave it a sweet, melted chocolate finish.
If you like flavored coffee that’s smooth without being overly bitter, this one is definitely worth trying.
I tried the coarse ground version.
